Who's more naked: the window or the woman? Josh Ritter wonders, too.

I’m surprised at us.  Given that we’re all handsome, well-cultured, men (I guarantee at least one of those three), I would think we would’ve known better than this.  We’ve never blogged on Josh Ritter.

Perhaps this is unsurprising.  Most everyone who needs ‘a know’d his music done already know’d it, you might say, but probably not because you don’t look like this.  Scratch that, I won’t even pin that on linguistics.  Yeah, I did just use those two irrelevant sentences to give you three links for this.  You’d probably be right to say he’s blogged enough, that he’s fairly mainstream, that remixes don’t come out, and even that his songs, when all put together, sound sorta the same.  I get that.  Still, given this blog’s significant influence (and that the influence is well preserved), I’m surprised.

Now is the time, though.  Now that he’s coming out with a few new tracks in his live set, and that hot women are reading his lyrics in nighties.   Now that I’ve discovered this awesome little track that apparently came off of a limited edition bonus CD distributed with his last album, and a live track of it as an intro to “Girl in the War.”  They’re all below.  You should enjoy them.  If you don’t want to listen to me, listen to the aforementioned hot woman:
