A Weekend in the Amazon (.com).

More animals. The Weekend Bonus at the Animal Show.
As some of you may know, free stuff is awesome. That’s likely why many people read mp3 blogs at all. That’s likely why many people don’t even bother reading what I’m writing RIGHT NOW and skip right to the bottom of the page. It’s fine. Whatever. I understand. The prospect of free Ben and Jerry’s ice cream has me standing in line for an hour or so, and in reality, an hour of my time is likely worth 3-4 bucks. The prospect of free Rita’s Water Ice on the first day of spring has people in line for exponentially longer at times, and really, on the first day of spring, what could be better than standing in line for a few hours? Again, probably worth the two dollars for the stuff. The prospect of free music had me sifting through the many free songs and samplers on Amazon’s mp3 download site for an hour or so, downloading everything in sight, only to realize that I now have a shitload of shit to wade through to get anywhere near stuff worth listening to.
But lucky you, because the only outlet I have for my accomplishments is THIS BLOG. So here are a few tracks I deem “pretty good” or at least “decent” rather than “ear-bleedingly terrible” or more commonly, just downright mediocre. Enjoy.
Hungry Kids of Hungary – Scattered Diamonds (YSI)
The Optimen – 80’s Babies (YSI)
The Datsuns – Highschool Hoodlums (YSI)
Solillaquists of Sound – Look (YSI)
The Nerves – When You Find Out (YSI)

This is a good free one on Amazon:

It might not be indie enough for the Animal Show though.
You are a master of your causes, my friend. Like I said, I like the track though.
