About

The Animal Show is the brainchild of Edward Gottfried, a six-foot-plus Tennessean who is currently a junior at Bowdoin College in the murky depths of Maine. The Show has been up and running since before noon, December 22nd, 2008.

What a long, strange trip it’s been.

All links are provided in order to expose you, the readers, to new music. I support listening for free wholeheartedly, and see my role as a blogger as being part of providing that listening experience, like radio, except cooler and with fewer ads. And maybe less personality. I don’t know; I never really listened to the radio.

The Animal Show would like to thank Frosted Miniguns for all his help and support. Being the official mascot for a blog is no easy job, and no 2000-pound brute is better suited for it than a poorly photoshopped elephant.

This is Alphabetikos, the mascot of the Animal Show. He'll help me stampede into 20-09.

Thanks, Frosted Miniguns!

Many thanks also go to Louis Seabury Weeks for a nasty case of the hiccups.
