I feel so much better now.

Weezer’s got a new album coming out, ya’ll! Maybe it’ll be okay! WE CAN HOPE AND DREAM FOREVER.

There’s not a lot that I really have to say about Weezer. I’m one of those former die-hard fans who will continue to buy whatever they release regardless of its quality. Hopefully you’re a little bit more pennywise. Here are my 3 favorite unreleased Weez gems, which the new album will definitely not sound like. But maybe this’ll help us dream a little longer.

This picture gives me the willies.

….And suddenly I show up out of nowhere after abandoning my friends and our reader(s[?])! Let’s skip the awkwardness and get right back to the music.

It’s a well known fact that everyone worth talking to loves the shit out of Weezer. Also, I’m pretty sure that Lil’ Wayne got a few plays in the last 6 months or so. Lucky for everyone everywhere, Molestar has brought the two together through the power of mashups!

Although I’m not a huge fan of Weezy, let’s hope that you are, because it’ll probably make you like this album more. I haven’t actually made it all the way through it yet, but it seems like a great idea (in point of fact, anything to do with Weezer is a great idea), and I’m counting on Edward being pleased enough that I’m contributing again to let it slide if it’s a dud. BONUS: I recently acquired another Weezer mashup, but it’s pretty terrible, so I’m not posting it here. You’re welcome!

OBLIGATORY SWEATER PIC

I don’t know if you guys noticed, but it’s like practically Christmas already. I know, I know. It seems like just yesterday I started this thing, and the holiday’s already here. Time flies when you’re adding to the already over-burdened blogosphere. Or so the saying goes.

Anyway, I couldn’t leave all 15 of my faithful readers for Christmas / the 4th and 5th nights of Hannukah (the infamous Hannukah Hump) with only the soothing sounds of Princeton to tide you over. Consider my Christmas present to you the gift of complete honesty, in the form of two of my greatest guilty pleasures, after the break:

Weezer.

EDIT: Hell, I’m feeling generous. It’s Christmas, I’ll go ahead and give you the full Weezer at Christmas EP. Just remember to, like, buy music and stuff. But I’m sure you’ve all seen Weezer in concert several times like normal people have. We were all in 7th grade once.
